Home At Last
Please do not just drop by. Mary is still weak and needs her rest. She has doctors appointments and therapy sessions that will occupy her time. I would like to ask that anyone who wants to visit call ahead when I am home (after 3PM) and then limit their visit as to not tire her. I'm sure that when she is able, that she will e mail as many people as she can.. Even e mail will be tiring for her.

We met our new (Blue Cross
approved) oncologist. He seems to be on top of everything and even
called me at 6:00 to let me know that he was getting more information from
the old oncologist and to double check the medications that Mary was
receiving.
We were out five hours, ending with blood tests and Mary was exhausted from the ordeal. She laid down and I got a special devise to keep her feet elevated while in bed. It seemed to help reduce the swelling of her feet. Mary is really enjoying the pleasures of home. |
